Thermographic Scanning

Does your horse suffer any of the following symptoms?

Back or neck pain, muscular irritation
Suspect lameness without localisation
Sensitivity to grooming, touching or saddling
Weak muscling, dull coat or poor skin
Short-striding, stumbling and poor impulsion
Head shaking, mobility and postural faults
Acquired temperament / training problems

Since 1996, our clinic is the first equine practice in the southeast to have this facility installed. It provides a safe, non-invasive full body scanning for diagnosing some of the subtle problems in poor performance conditions, sometimes mistaken as training or behavioural problems, or present as undiagnosable lameness.

We have pioneered thermographic studies of acupuncture responses in chronic neuromuscular disease cases (see example on back).
