We are a dedicated equine veterinary practice close to
Guildford, providing a comprehensive, caring and professional service to
over 3600 registered horses and ponies . Our staff are passionate about
horses, equine welfare and equestrian sport. Southern Hills was formed
in January 1989 and we operate from our comprehensively equipped equine
clinic. We provide the 24-hour equine-only service with
in-patient facilities as well as our very popular mobile service
throughout the Surrey and Hampshire areas. |

Office Hours
Our clinic is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm. At all other
times an emergency duty equine vet will be available via our messaging service. Just
dial 0845 5438447 (local call rates apply) or 01483 811007 and you can arrange an urgent visit or if
you need to speak to a vet, they will call you back.
Arranging visits and Appointments
Routine calls can be arranged by registered clients by calling our friendly staff during
normal working hours on either our long established number 01483 811007
or the 24 hour number 0845 5438447. When booking a visit please make
sure we have accurate contact details so that if an emergency should
arise and the vet becomes delayed we can contact you to advise you of
this. Please make sure we know the exact location of your horse.
Emergencies
In an emergency please call 0845 5438447 at any time 24 hours a day 365
days a year. When requesting an emergency visit it is helpful if you
provide the following details: the owners full name, location of the
horse, brief details of the emergency and full contact details. Our
staff are fully trained and understand the stress of an emergency
situation.
